Catawba River Lilies Float Trip

Sail club members paddled the Catawba river spider lilies recently on a beautiful spring May day.  Members met at the sail club at 8:30 am and made the hour drive to Landsford Canal State Park, leaving the club at 9 am arriving 10ish to the park. They dropped the boats off at the launch located in the park then moved the cars to the take out. Hiked the 1.5 mile trail back to the boats. Beautiful scenery with the lilies along the way! This is an annual trip the Sail club organizes. Aleady looking forward to next May's Lilies Float Trip!
